Nestled conveniently near Symonds Yat, this hotel offers remarkable value, particularly given its historical charm dating back to the 15th century. While the rooms may show wear, they remain clean and warm, featuring carpeted floors and flat-screen TVs for modern comfort. Tea and coffee facilities are available, a bonus for early risers keen on a caffeine fix. Though breakfast isn't provided onsite, the lovely café down the road more than makes up for it with hearty options. For evening meals, the Indian restaurant on-site gives way to nearby pubs with diverse menus, which is great when dining out. The free Wi-Fi could use improvement, as it struggled to connect in our room, but overall, it's a minor setback. If you crave historical surroundings mixed with modern needs, this spot is definitely worth considering for your future travels.
